Where has ale been?

Hey!
uh..
been a bit. (ᵕ-ᴗ-)
Sorry for those who were looking forward to me actually being consistent with my blog (or my website). I’m horrendous at sticking to things, even when it’s something that I love doing like neocities. Executive dysfunction and all that jazz, are you really surprised honestly? It would be easier to document who isn’t neurodivergent here lol. Anywho, quite a lot has happened in the 8 months that I’ve been off of my site, both to my own life as well as yours, dear reader. Unfortunately, I can’t talk about what happened in your own life, but I sure as hell can talk about mine.

(yeah… my bad.)
First things first, what on earth got me to come back? It’s pretty simple actually, a friend of mine started their own neocities. Pretty crazy how easily a passion that was put away can be revived simply by having someone to share it with. Humans are social creatures after all. As much as you might think you’re an introvert and that you’re perfectly satisfied with your own company, having others around you can never hurt, in fact it only helps you! It was also pretty hypocritical of me to talk about how much I love neocities without having been on it in a long, long time, so we once again find ourselves here, on my own little corner of the web. Now to get into the nitty-gritty, what have I been up to in the 8 months that I’ve been away?
• I went to Halloween Horror Nights for the very first time and did all 10 houses in one night (it was amazing!)
• I started using twitter again (follow for more garbage, link in my contacts page)
• I cut off an asshole friend irl
• I got a 1480 on the SAT
• wplace came and went, and I met some wonderful people in my area and I found out that I’m so far from alone in terms of my special interests. Speaking of wplace though…
• I got sent my first death AND rape threat online
• I moved back home to Dominican Republic (unfortunately I will be back in the US for college T-T)
• met new friends at my old school that are amazing, a wonderful surprise I didn’t expect
• the switch 2 came out
• silksong came out
• my sister left to college (miss you man)
• I got seriously into fighting games, mostly strive, marvel 3, street fighter 6 and third strike
• I started reading comics again (thanks guys)
• I switched to arch linux on my daily driver
• I read homestuck
• I’m a senior now O.o
There’s waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more than that, but that’s just a cliffnotes on how my 2025 went. Moving was rough, I’ll probably write a separate blog post about that, but I’m glad I got to enjoy my time with my friends and relationships in the states, even if it was unfortunately cut short by a year. I still keep in contact with them and I plan on visiting soon, so it’s not so bad looking at it with the benefit of retrospect. Just gotta keep looking straight ahead and go one step at a time, why bother worrying about what I can’t control and neglect what I can? Speaking of looking straight, what am I currently up to now?
• working my ass off to boost my terrible GPA (I’m taking 3 AP classes cuz I have a death wish)
• in the process of applying to colleges
• getting out of beginner hell with Terry in sf6 (and also trying to find locals I can go to)
• joining a Dungeons and Dragons campaign with friends
• making plans to form a debate club at my new school (I was working on this before charlie kirk fyi)
• rebuilding my daily routine and attempting to be productive again
• fully completing silksong (game is everything I could’ve ever asked for btw), also steel soul/pantheon 5 attempts in hollow knight
• continuing the ORAS shinylocke I abandoned a year ago
• helping out around the house unpacking, fixing, planning, etc. (y’know, moving stuff)
• getting my license
• auditioning for the school musical (first time doing one haha) and learning how to sing (I'm a baritone!)
• just having the best senior year that I can make it!
• webmastering jubilife vibes again

But yeah, that’s about it. There’s a lot on my plate, but I’m still making time to work on this site. I forgot how much I missed this project as well as just writing about life and other stuff (very specific shut up). If you made it down here, then thank you dear reader. Hopefully I can actually stick to weekly updates, no matter how small. Thanks for stopping by, I really appreciate it.
See you in the next one!
